After the fabulous welcoming tea event, why not have some fun in sports? Hong Kong club is going to organize the first sport event and guess what, our choice will be badminton!! After two weeks of stressful university life, let’s chill out a bit with the sport. Cards games and drinks will be provided as well. So don’t miss the chance, come and enjoy the fun within.

Thank you for all the support and all of those who have signed up as Hong Kong Club member.

We would want to welcome everyone, therefore, we are organising a welcome event.

This is a causal afternoon tea event. We will provide mahjong and other boardgames as entertainment with sushi, egg tart, snacks and drinks included.

Hi HKC members and non-members,

I would like to welcome everyone back to university for the second semester. I hope you all are enjoying your university life.HKC are going to have quite a lot of events in this semester. I think everybody know that the Olympics is going on in China at the moment. We are going to have our “Olympics” as well! HKC are in an inter-club sports event this semester and completing with other clubs such as SUAMS, VSA, Chopsticks etc! Here are the details:

Date: 19- 21 September (Week 8)

Time: To be confirmed

Sports: Indoor Soccer, Basketball, Frisbee.

Price: To be confirmed

We will have yummy BBQ during this event as well.

If you are interested, no matter you are a boy or a girl, please send your contact details such as name, mobile phone number and the sport(s) you are interested in to reshkc@gmail.com.

We will try our best to fit all those are interested into the competition. However, if there are too many people are interested in a particular sport, we may need to select the players.

I hope this won’t be the case and everybody could enjoy themselves in this event. And we will start training for basketball and soccer very soon! So send us an e-mail now and don’t wait!

How have you guys been in the holidays?
Here we have our 1st event for the new semester... INDOOR SOCCER!
 
Please come along with friends and enjoy a game of soccer with us.
 
IMPORTANT: TO HEAT IT UP WE HAVE THE OLYMPIC THEME,
PLEASE BRING(OR WEAR) A RED TSHIRT AND A GREEN/GOLD TSHIRT WITH YOU.
TEAMS WILL THEN BE SPLIT INTO 2 ("HONG KONG CHINA" AND "AUS") =D
AND THE ONES WITHOUT A PROPER COLOUR SHIRT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY
(just kidding, they can be the team of international stars)
 
Bring some friends and have fun.
For those who does not play soccer, spectators are very welcomed, and
of course cards and UNOs will be there as well.
 
Time: 15th Aug (Week 3, Friday), 1600-1800
 
Place: University Sports & Aquatic Centre
(The one behind Wentworth Building, with a large swimming pool, you
will walk pass it if you walk to the Redfern station)
